Prototype
If you want to achieve a fast result, a first indicator, test your data or simply get introduced to Cost Transparency methods and understand the modeling challenges, we recommend you to let us build a prototype. A prototype is not just used to test different scenarios during the design phase, but is a very good way to have something recognizable to base your discussion on before you start the big model design phase. When doing the first introductions of your Cost Transparency Model project to your organization, it is very useful to have a small prototype to support you, where people actually recognize structure, names and numbers. A prototype is often 10-20% of a full model but surprisingly they often turn out to show a great deal of the truth. A prototype can also be used as a Proof of Concept to get buy in and understanding from the organization.
